Growing Water Smart Series Part 2 of 3: (May 17, 2018) Land use planning and water resource management are highly connected, yet often developed separately. By linking these two fields, a community can achieve significant gains in managing water demand. The Sonoran Institute has developed a Self-Assessment Tool to help local government and water providers get started. Harold Thomas, with the Sonoran Institute, will provide an overview of the tool and share examples of it in use.
